The other day we were caught taking cover from a hard afternoon downpour in Denver at Steuben's, drinking doctored hot chocolate, trying to warm up. The hostess was sweet - she let me abscond with a menu. It's a replica of an illustration created for the original restaurant - couldn't fit the entire image on my scanner. Steuben's was a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot in the 1940's. Located on Boylston Street, The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were each part of Steuben's, which hosted big bands, jazz bands, swing bands, and The Rat Pack. In its prime, Steuben's was the center of the Boston dining and nightlife scene.

Cool graphics!
Love it!
What a cool menu and isn't it grand when you meet the exact right person (waitress) that will allow this one moment (taking the menu) happen. And her kindness allows you to let everyone know about their establishment. When I am Denver...I will stop by for hot chocolate, too!

OMG! Gotta love those 40's graphics, pulp novel covers and comic books!
