ragtags studio central: sarah's random this & that

random means "having no definite aim or purpose," (1655), taken from "at random" (1565), "at great speed" (thus, "carelessly, haphazardly"). In 1980s college student slang, it somehow, and sadly, acquired a distinct sense of "inferior, undesirable." (Online Etymology Dictionary, Douglas Harper) Well, okay, fine, Mr. Online Etymology Dictionary person, but THIS is the 21st Century. It's a whole new ball of wax.

Fresh, Through the Eyes of a Shopgirrrl

Click on the title of this post, and you will be taken to my *Reviews* section on Amazon. I know some people come down on those who only write "good" reviews, but the reason I don't post bad ones is twofold. There are plenty of other people out there who are willing to let you know when they think something sucks, and I figure, even if it does suck for me, there are no doubt some who do NOT share my tastes, in reading or otherwise. I don't want to be sending negative energy into the universe. Besides, maybe it was the circumstance under which I read it that made me less than enthusiastic. The other reason is, being the natural shopgirl that I am, it is easy to wax rhapsodic when I am crazy about something, much harder to find the words when it just doesn't "do it" for me.
In light of the above, although I never wrote a review for it, check out True Colors, (in my blog sidebar) if you haven't yet. Though it first came out in 2003, 4 years later it seems fresh to me still. I really wish Stampington would consider publishing True Colors 2, you cannot IMAGINE the art that never made it into the first!
Here are two additional pages I did - This was for Lisa Renner's Blue & Ochre volume: And this mod lovely graced one of my pages made for Lisa Hoffman's Aqua Exotica.
Wouldn't you LOVE to get a peek of a few more?
